A Year Of Cannabis And Community At High Street
From introducing new shopping conveniences to strengthening ties with the greater Hackettstown community, High Street’s hit a lot of, ahem, high notes this year. Here’s what our Hackettstown dispensary has been up to this year.
We opened one of New Jersey’s first cannabis drive-thrus
In March 2024, High Street Dispensary made waves in Hackettstown with the launch of its highly anticipated drive-thru service. The grand opening marked a first for Warren County and the state as one of the first dispensaries to offer drive-thru pickup service. It became a quick hit — shoppers still hit up the drive-thru every hour of every day!
This addition to our order-ahead offerings lets customers skip the lines and pick up their pre-ordered cannabis products from the comfort of their cars. With a seamless, no-hassle process, customers can browse our curated menu online, choose their items, and schedule a convenient pick-up time. Whether you’re in a rush or just looking for a more comfortable shopping experience, the drive-thru makes it easier than ever to get high-quality cannabis without leaving your vehicle.
We celebrated Pride with EDGE NJ
High Street celebrated Pride Month as an Ally Sponsor at EDGE NJ’s annual Morris County Pride Festival on June 22nd. The event, held at the County College of Morris in nearby Randolph, brought together diverse voices for a family-friendly celebration of queer visibility and education.
Beyond Pride, High Street continues its year-round support of EDGE NJ, encouraging customers to contribute through donations and volunteerism to help expand access to vital care and resources. This partnership celebrated a shared commitment to equality and the powerful connection between the cannabis and LGBTQ+ communities, both of which have long been advocates for social justice and resilience.
We brought the flower — and the fun — to Hackettstown Oktoberfest
High Street Dispensary had a blast at the Hackettstown Oktoberfest for the second year in a row. Hosted by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) in collaboration with Czig Meister Brewing and Man Skirt Brewing, this year’s event featured live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of brews. Our staff was there to raise awareness, answer questions about cannabis, and give out great swag.
We also offered a convenient way to order directly from our tablet at the event. Attendees could easily browse our online menu, place their order, and pick it up at our nearby dispensary in person or through our drive-thru. It was a fantastic way to break down cannabis stigma and engage with the Hackettstown community. We look forward to being back next year!
We offered (and are offering!) free weed for a year to one lucky customer
All December long, eligible customers who shopped with us got to enter for a chance to win free cannabis for an entire year! How much smoke is that? Well, one lucky New Jerseyan is going to find out.
In partnership with Garden Greens, all you need to do is shop at High Street, buy a Garden Greens product, and hit a minimum spend amount, and you’re entered to win. This contest ends December 31st, so there’s still time to enter.
We launched Warren County’s first cannabis delivery service
As if the year couldn’t get any sweeter! Just in time for the year to close, we became the first dispensary in Hackettstown and Warren County to offer delivery to our customers. Starting on [DATE], customers in Hackettstown, Stanhope, Netcong, Long Valley, and many more local towns can stay on the couch while we do all the heavy lifting. Orders $130 or more pre-tax are eligible for free delivery, which you can pay for with cash, debit, credit (Visa/Mastercard only), or AeroPay. Best of all, we’ll come to you on the same day.
We’re proud to be the first dispensary in the community to launch this necessary — and convenient — service!
We connected with community farmer’s markets
High Street is proud to be located near some of the best farmers’ markets in the area. One of our favorites is Hackettstown’s West End Farmers Market, a marketplace in our hometown offering an excellent selection of fresh produce, bread, eggs, meats, cheese, pasta, and more. The market is just three minutes from High Street — may we suggest stopping in on your way to or from the market?
Looking ahead at community connections and innovation
As we move into 2025, High Street Dispensary remains committed to serving our community and being a trusted, supportive presence. The next year is one that will continue to forge connections, raise awareness, and support the causes that matter most to our customers. Whether you’re picking up your favorite cannabis products or joining us at a local event, we can’t wait to see you around!
