Celebrate with the Hackettstown Business Improvement District
The Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) is bringing extra holiday cheer to Small Business Saturday this year. In addition to visiting our favorite small businesses, take the day up a notch with one or all of what they’ve got planned:
- Spin-to-Win at the Wheel of Chance: Visit the Hackettstown BID Office at 219 Main Street from 2:00 to 4:00 PM for a fun Spin-to-Win event! Test your luck and spin the Wheel of Chance for a chance to win up to $50 in BID Bucks, plus other fantastic prizes. All you need is one receipt of $20 or more from any Hackettstown BID business on Small Business Saturday, and you’ll earn a spin! Plus, BID Bucks are redeemable at any participating Hackettstown BID business, so you can shop and save while supporting local merchants.
- Toys for Tots Train: Operation Toy Train will be stopping in Hackettstown this year to collect toys for children in need. Meet Santa and drop off a new, unwrapped toy at the parking lot on Grand Avenue next to Tannery Field from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. If you can’t make it on the 30th, you can drop off donations at Hackettstown Town Hall (Stiger Street) or the BID Office before Friday, November 29th.
- Holiday Music: Enjoy holiday music on Main Street from DJ S.C.3, creating the perfect festive atmosphere as you shop. You can also catch the Kudos Barbershop Quartet as they roam Hackettstown businesses from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
- Smiles For Margaret Memorial Run/Walk: If you’re seeking a meaningful way to kick off Small Business Saturday shopping, consider joining the Smiles for Margaret Memorial Run/Walk. This event honors Margaret Walling, a young Hackettstown resident who lost her battle with a brain tumor in 2013 and helps raise funds for local families whose children are fighting cancer. It’s a heartwarming way to begin your Saturday — support a local charity, get active, and check out the happenings in town.
